The form fit system controls the circumference fit, allowing the helmet to be snugged securely around the head, while the vertical tuning system allows the helmet to be customized fore and aft for a seamless integration with the Rev or Chico goggle. No gaps across the forehead which may cause discomfort in wind and cold, and a seamless compatibility which insures the goggles vent properly, making them less likely to fog, no matter how warm a new skier gets as they master the intricacies of equipment and lifts. If your new skier is unsure of the feel of helmets and goggles try standing in front of a mirror and fitting the helmet on while they watch. Get them accustomed to the helmet, then open the goggle band up to its widest circumference. Place the goggles over their eyes, allowing them to get used to looking through the goggle, then slide the band over the helmet and tighten it so it is secure, but not squashing the face. Look in the mirror to make sure the goggle meshes to the top of the helmet without pressing down on the nose, and if not, use the vertical tuning system to bring the helmet forward or backwards for the perfect fit.
