The Simple Pleasures was created for those that love the feeling of a long powder turn and setting rail on a groomed run. A Directional Camber Baseline™ and tapered shape works in harmony with a wider profile, making it feel right at home floating through the deep stuff or weaving through trees.
Product Details
- Rocker Type - Directional Camber Baseline™ – Camber between the feet and a slight rocker in the tip and tail give you all of the power and energy of a cambered snowboard, but with a little extra float on those deep days.
- Tweekend™ – Tweekend™ is simply taking the rocker and camber profile of the board and extending that profile into the tip and tail. This allows you to use the whole board as stable platform for pressing butters, floating in powder and landing big hits.
- Flex Rating – 3 (1 Soft - 5 Stiff)
- Shape - Tapered Directional
- Volume Shift™ – Volume is moved from the tips and tails to underfoot for a wider, shorter design than traditional snowboard shapes, increasing mobility and maneuverability for better slashing and more lines through the trees.
- Core - Bambooyah™ Core – Taking influence from skateboard manufacturing, K2 Bambooyah™ Blended cores are strong as hell and come packed with a complete 5-year warranty.
- Laminates - Biaxial Glass – Smooth all-purpose performance with a no-frills design. Fibers are woven together at 0°. This makes for a more responsive ride longitudinally and torsionally.
- Sidewalls - Hybritech™ – Hybritech™ is the most efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. Featuring sidewalls along the running surface that flow into the nose and tail, providing low swing-weight while extending the wood core all the way to the tip of the board for optimized turning initiation and durability.
- Base - Carbon Infused 5500 Sintered Base – Fast, light and strong. The carbon infused sintered 5500 base is the cream of the crop. By adding carbon to a sintered base, K2 has increased the wax retention and decreased drag for a faster, smoother ride.
