The Marker Ampire Women's Helmet combines a lighter weight hybrid construction consisting of hard shell upper and lightweight lower and now features MAPs (Multi-Impact Adaptive Polymer) protection. MAPs offer 22% more effective protection than standard EPS helmets while also offering a superior fit. Additionally, MAPs posses a unique ability to maintain it's shock absorbency regardless of temperature. Along with the weight savings this helmet offers, the MarkAir ventilation system allows a comfortable level of airflow that prevents your head from getting too cold even with the vents fully open, or too warm when they're fully sealed. It also helps keep your goggles fog-free. To give you even more custom comfort and heightened protection, the RTS adjustment dial at the back of the head is easily operated by one hand – even with ski gloves on, and the secure chin strap closes with an easy-to-operate sliding magnetic snap. Removable padded ear pads offer added warmth and are compatible with audio devices including your cell phone. The flaps can also be removed for warmer conditions.
