The Rapid is a robust version of the popular Rapid Racing pack designed to bring the high-level functionality of a race pack to those who just love to tour. Improvements have been made in every part of the pack with updates to the shoulder straps, back panel and waist belt for a more profiled fit and better load stabilization, updates to the crampon pocket with the addition of magnets to help make sure the pocket is easy to close without removing the pack, a new ice axe holder that allows the axe to be removed without removing the pack, and new dedicated compartments and holders for the shovel and probe for fast and easy access. Other popular features remain like the easy access pockets on the waist and shoulder straps, dedicated bottle holder on the shoulder strap, and the X-Press ski carrying system that allows skis to be attached and removed without removing the pack.
