Luxe X defines style and comfort with features like durable and light In-mold construction combined with MIPS® technology. A soft Ultra fleece liner and the RCS fit system allows you to snug up the fit with an easily adjustable dial. The Fidlock magnetic buckle ensures quick on-and-off without the need to remove your gloves. Luxe X features VTT3 ventilation technology for a no fuss approach to complete control over changeable conditions. The Luxe X also features our Covert Ear Cover System with audio* ready pockets.

MIPS® - MIPS sets a new standard in helmet safety. Developed by brain surgeons and scientists to reduce rotational forces on the brain caused by angled impacts to the head. The secret behind MIPS’ unique, patented technology comes from the human brain. The brain is surrounded by a low-friction cushion of cerebrospinal fluid that protects it by allowing it to slide slightly on impact. MIPS imitates the brain’s way of protecting itself by giving the helmet it’s own low-friction layer between the outer shell and the liner, which also slides to absorb much of the energy created by an angled blow to the head. MIPS is included on all Pret X helmets.

VTT3 - VTT3 is Pret’s unique combination of both indirect airflow and fully adaptable openings. This fully adjustable venting system provides optimal comfort and climate control. Directional front intake vents transport cool air through our proprietary labyrinth channels. This creates a capillary action that pulls warm, moist air out of the helmet while eliminating direct airflow to eliminate the dreaded “Brain Freeze”. The ultimate all-conditions system.

RCS Fit System - Pret developed our exclusive quick release Ripcord System (RCS) to create the perfect micro-adjustable, compact and ergonomic fit system. Quick dial in your fit. One full turn provides a full 4cm of micro-adjustment. Simply pulling up on the adjustment dial and the exclusive Ripcord feature instantly releases the system.
