The Pivot Jr Youth Snow Helmet from Smith Optics is made for kids and is suitable for skiing, snowboarding or biking and is designed for safety as well as comfort. Its in-mold polycarbonate shell and EPS polyurethane inner liner combine to meet both ASTM F 2040 and CE EN 1077:2077 Class B certifications. The elastic, Lifestyle Fit System provides a dynamic fit that moves with the wearer and flexes around the head, serving to maximize mobility. Wearers will appreciate the comfortable and durable nylon snap-buckle chin strap.
For easy climate control, 13 fixed vents maximize airflow and heat dissipation in warm temperatures while minimizing cold air drafts. These vents integrate with Smith Optics goggles to provide the benefit of the Smith Optics AirEvac 2 ventilation system which eliminates fogging by driving warm air away from the goggles through external vents and internal channels in the EPS liner. A rear goggle lock secures any eye protection worn with this snow helmet and is user-removable.
