RESERVE IN ADVANCE: Make a reservation for your seasonal ski and snowboard equipment through our easy-to-use booking system.
PICK UP YOUR GEAR: Arrive at your selected store location on the designated pickup date. Each person renting equipment must be present for proper fitting and to sign the rental agreement. If under age 18, a parent or guardian must be present. Season rentals must be picked up at the start of the winter season (Sept. - Nov. for most locations). Our expert rental technicians will get you fitted with the best equipment for your size and ability.
SKI/RIDE ALL SEASON: Enjoy the slopes with support from our dedicated team: bring your equipment in for complimentary tuning all season long. Swap gear if your preferences change or size up if you grow out of your equipment during the season.
RETURN AT THE END OF THE SEASON: Enjoy using your equipment all winter long, then return your gear to the same location on its due date. Late return fees apply.

DELIVERY COORDINATOR CALL: A delivery coordinator will call you in advance to coordinate a meeting place based on your specific lodging. At this time, they will also ask you to elect a group leader to coordinate with during the fitting process.
RENTAL GEAR DELIVERY & FITTING: The rental delivery team will meet your party at the prearranged time and location. Each person renting equipment must be present for proper fitting and to sign the rental agreement. If under age 18, a parent or guardian must be present. The team will ensure that your equipment is fit and setup for you perfectly.
COORDINATE GEAR PICKUP OR DROPOFF: At the end of your trip, our delivery team will coordinate with you to pick up gear at a location of your choice. You may also return your rentals at any of our stores in the region you are skiing. Late return fees apply.

Test skis are available at 9 slopeside Christy Sports locations in Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Crested Butte, Keystone, Vail, Steamboat, Telluride, Deer Valley, and Big Sky. Test skis are the same models available for sale in store, and allow for customers to try out different skis before making a purchase. Up to 2 days of credit from a test ski rental can be applied to a new ski purchase within the same season. Test skis are available on a first come, first served walk-in basis at select locations and cannot be reserved in advance.
CONNECT WITH AN ASSOCIATE IN STORE: A staff member will help you to assess what skis will be best to test and set up a test rental for the day.
TEST YOUR GEAR: Try out the skis on the mountain to see what you like best. Multiple pairs of skis can be tested in a single day for the same price, so you can directly compare and find the best model for your skiing needs.
RETURN ON SCHEDULE: Return the ski and snowboard gear to the same location on the scheduled date. Late return fees apply.
APPLY YOUR TEST CREDIT: If testing helps your find your dream ski setup, you can apply up to 2 days worth of the test rental cost to the purchase price of a new pair of skis within the same season.

Reserve your equipment as soon as you know your vacation dates. Some locations do sell out during the holidays and spring break. Equipment prices vary by location, please view locations and rates page.
When you reserve 24 hours or more in advance you will receive 20% off your rental reservation. Not valid with a walk-in rental or same day reservations. Not valid with any other promotions or discounts.
Yes, all Christy Sports locations offer a damage waiver for daily and seasonal rental equipment. The cost is $4 per person, per day for winter daily rentals. It is $6 per day for bike rentals and $20 for the whole season for ski or snowboard season rentals. Damage waiver covers only breakage or damage of equipment, it does not cover loss, theft or personal injury.
Season rentals are due at the end of the ski season, generally around April 20th. Season rental return due dates vary slightly by region and are associated with local resort closing dates. Christy Sports will send out email season return reminders. Customers failing to return gear within 30 days of return date will be issued a non-refundable auto-renew for the following season rental at next-season’s rates.
You can swap sizes in either skis or boots during the season at no charge. Size exchanges must be made at the store where you originally picked up your season rentals.
For the kids! Getting a growing family into the sport of skiing can get expensive. With Christy Sports Season Rental, you can get the gear that fits your child perfectly this season at a great price. You can swap out sizes during the season at no additional cost.
Adults new to the sport can get fully outfitted at a fraction of the cost of purchasing equipment. Use our Season Rental to learn what type of terrain you like to ski so that when you’re ready, Christy Sports can help you find the ideal gear should you decide to own.

We offer bike rentals at 10 mountain destinations with 14 shops specializing in bike rental, tuning, repair and retail services. Bike rentals are available at the following locations:
It is important that you pick up your bike rental within the first hour that the rental shop is open.
If you do not arrive within 1 hour of your reservation time, your reservation will become subject to forfeit. If you are going to be delayed in picking up your reservation, please call the rental store to keep your reservation.
We are unable to allow early pick up the day before your reservation on most bike rentals.
Please cancel your reservation 24 hours prior to your pick-up day for a full refund. You can make changes at any time. Requested changes are subject to availability.

Your balance due may vary slightly from your confirmation based on the date of your pick-up, the actual equipment rented and finalization of sales tax amounts based on where you finalize your rental.
Holidays and weekends can become very busy. You can call your rental location in advance for advice on the best fitting time for your pickup day.
Depending on what equipment you rented, there may be pending reservations for that gear. Please contact your rental location to make arrangements to extend.
Rental returns are due back the day after your rental date has expired. Please be sure to return your equipment by 10 am. For example, if you rent from 12/1 to 12/2 the equipment can be returned on 12/2 or the next day, 12/3 by 10 am. Equipment returned after 10 a.m. will be charged for an additional full day of rental at the walk-in price.
If you would like a helmet please reserve it with your rental. The cost is $14.95 per day. Helmet quantities are limited and we cannot guarantee a Helmet will be available without a reservation.

Yes, but upgrades are only available in store and dependent on gear availability. There will be an additional cost for the difference in package price.
If you make an advanced reservation, you will need select the Junior Sport Package to qualify for KRF. When you arrive at the store simply let the staff know you are interested in an upgrade.
Blackout date restrictions apply. If any of your rental dates are within the blackout window Kids Rent Free will not apply.
You can qualify for Kids Rent Free if your reservation has at least 4 qualifying dates outside of the blackout window. Please contact customer service at 1 (888) 413-6966 to book.
Test skis are the same models sold in our stores, letting you try before you buy. If you rent a test ski, you can apply up to 2 days of the rental fee toward a new ski purchase this season. While demo options include high-quality models, they don’t cover all the skis for sale. Select stores also offer Test Skis, which include every model available for purchase, some of which may also be available for demo rental. Test Skis help customers decide on a purchase, while Demo Rentals are for those seeking the best rental experience without the obligation to buy.
There is a 2-day minimum for delivery rentals. Reservations can be made for 1-day but will be charged the 2-day minimum. Your gear will be delivered and picked up from your place of lodging regardless of duration.
Step 2: A delivery coordinator will call you in advance to coordinate a meeting place based on your specific lodging. At this time, they will also ask you to elect a group leader to coordinate with during the fitting process.
Step 3: The rental delivery team will arrive to meet you at the prearranged time and location. All rental equipment will already be pre-set before being placed in transport bags. We will also have spare equipment in our delivery vehicle, in case somebody needs a different size or fit. Your group leader will work with the delivery team to fit rental gear for all guests in your party. Payment will be taken after your fitting.
Step 4: At the end of your trip, our delivery team will coordinate with you to pick up gear at a location of your choice. Simply leave your gear for us to pick up and we’ll handle the rest! You may also return your rental equipment at any of our stores in the region you are visiting. When you arrive at the store to return your rental equipment, place it in the designated “Equipment Rental Return” area, rack, or bin. Most stores will have outdoor gear return processes for your convenience.
