Displaying an intricate beadwork band across the hand, these tan leather gloves with brown leather patches and piping are named for the mountain Muchu Chhish in Pakistan. Muchu Chhish is the tallest unclimbed mountain in the world that is legally climbable and the second highest unclimbed peak overall.
Astis leather gloves are hand-sewn in the USA from tan high-quality suede leather with hand-stitched beadwork on the back of the hand and are lined with Polartec® High Loft insulation. Working directly with a tannery in the USA, we developed a suede leather, injected with silicone during the tanning process for further waterproofing, that is extremely durable yet retains great dexterity.
As each leather glove is hand-sewn and uses natural materials, each leather mitten will possess slight variation in the look of the leather and beadwork. Astis embraces these subtle differences and views them as unique gloves more akin to works of art.
