The C-8 is an entirely new direction for Ride. We set out to design the smoothest riding binding in the world and the C-8 did not disappoint. The C-Series Performance Chassis pairs an aluminum heelcup with a glass filled nylon base tray. The aluminum heelcup provides the feel and durability of aluminum where you need it while the composite tray offers a damp and responsive ride. The Reversible Ankle Strap provides two riding positions. Ride with the stiff part of the strap on the top for a more aggressive feel or swap the straps so the soft part is on top for more flexibility and lateral movement. The canted footbed aligns your joints with a 2.5 degree angle while providing more leverage over the tip and tail of your board. Integrated rubber PODS make for an even smoother ride. The C-8 is designed for high-end performance.
- The C-Series Performance is the same Chassis as the standard C-Series chassis, but with 20% short-glass injected into a nylon tray. Injected short-glass makes the chassis more responsive while the nylon composite provides a smooth ride.
- Traditional Highback material that offers a predictable mix of response and comfort.
- Designed to be worn in two positions: one for hard charging, performance and the other for a more relaxed feel that lets you really lean into your ride. Utilizes a strong upper and a soft flexible lower portion to support all of your riding needs.
- Cored and stitched toe strap built for better performance and fit. Rigid (material) outside with a cored rubber inside designed to contour and increase flex both over the top or around the front of your boots.
- Designed to improve ladder durability and eliminate ratchet wag, resulting in a smoother user experience with the same hold you expect.
- An extra cush EVA Basepad that wraps under the binding and up the sides to damp out vibrations and make for a smooth ride.
- Just like it sounds, no tools needed to adjust these straps. Get the perfect fit without having to use one of those damn screwdrivers on a rope at the top of the chair.
