For little tykes that wanna go big, the Zero Jr. is a Twin Standard Camber board that aims to reduce edge catching, make it easier to initiate turns so they can get the hang of the edge-to-edge transition of riding groomers and soften the vibrations that can cause kids to fall. Packed with similar construction as our adult-size Zero model, the Zero Jr. is the perfect way to introduce your little one to riding or let them take it to the next level if they have their feet solidly under them after a few winters on the hill.
- Standard Camber Profile
- Slight traditional camber zone translating to a more responsive feel while not being overpowering.
- Asymmetrical
- Asymmetric sidecut shaping improves heelside turn initiation and control. Offering perfect balance while turning through different radii for the heel and toe side edges, the board just feels right!
- Twin
- Great for going both directions, same shape on the nose and tail of the board. Great for park riding, going switch, or just looking nice.
- Quadratic
- Blending of three radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style.
- Slim Walls
- RIDE's Slim Wall technology is the evolution of our Roll-in Construction to its extreme limit. By creating a fully 3-D composite structure over Slimewall® material, this revolutionary technology results in more efficient energy transfer, lighter weight construction, and even better damping.
- Single Impact Plates
- Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double.
- Biaxial
- 90° and 0° angles, fun and forgiving.
- Extruded Base
- The industry standard extruded 1500 Ptex base material. Good wax absorption and easy to repair.
- Foundation™ Core
- Tip-to-tail Aspen wood core with proven durability that retains pop and flex.
- Cleave Edge
- Nearly 50% more steel, delivers unmatched resistance to edge cracking and can be detuned to larger radii.
- Wend® Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax
- The Meadowfoam® factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND® Meadowfoam® snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable.
- 30% Recycled Steel Edges
- Everyone knows about recycling, but nobody thinks about it when it comes to snowboard edges. Hell, do people even think about their snowboard edges? Luckily for you we’re thinking of both. Edges on RIDE Snowboards contain 30% recycled materials. That means part of your snowboard could be made out of a car, an airplane, a building, who knows. Anything steel and recycled could turn into a snowboard edge.
- FSC® Certified Paper Packaging
- What does this mean for snowboard packaging? Well how about those stickers on the base that are a pain in the ass to peel off? Yup, made with FSC® Certified Materials. Boxes the boards are shipped in? Also FCS® Certified.
- 44% Solar Production Energy
- 44% and rising! We’re working with our factories to utilize solar energy when producing RIDE products. We’re currently at using 44% sustainable solar energy, with plans in the works to grow that number in the coming years.
